“I am so proud of how far our city has come in the last eight years. Working together we have overcome the national economic meltdown and made Bremerton a more livable city. Without cutting vital services we have balanced our budget, lived within our means and preserved what makes Bremerton so special. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with so many special people to run this great city of ours. I look forward to working with you to make our city even more special”.
Over the course of my career I have been fortunate to have had a wide array of experiences. From owning a small business to a community activist to a Kitsap County Commissioner, I have learned a lot over the years. Obviously being a parent to five children, eight grandchildren and two great-granddaughters, my life has been highlighted. As Mayor of Bremerton I have used my life long experiences to balance the needs of our taxpayers with the overall needs of our community. It’s a tough balancing act but working with members of the community I think we have done a great job during difficult times.
